Teen Athena is an innovative new program brought to you by the producers of Contra Costa Aventure Boot Camp.
It's time for the girls of Contra Costa County to flex their GIRL POWER!
Teen Athena Girls will be doing flexibity, strength, endurance, power and agility training while also learning about proper body mechanics and proper physiological training. In addition to getting a great work-out these girls will learn how to train smart so that they can stay injury free and look forward to a life time of health.
Teen Athena Starts February 25th, 2008
Who: High School Girls
When: Feb. 25th through March 29th (5 weeks)
Day: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Time: 4:45 - 5:45pm
Where: Heather Farms Park, Walnut Creek
Cost: $180
What:
#1 This class will be fun,exciting and supportive!
It is a one hour outdoor exercise class which will incorporate flexibility, strength, cardio, movement, speed and power training for teen girls.
The class will also include simple exercise physiology, nutrition, team building, goal setting and self-confidence building.
This program is designed for athletes and non athletes alike.
Teen Athletes will get a better understanding of thier body and how to stay healthy while training for their sport.
Non Athletes will experience the benefits that exercise, eating and healthy life habits can make in a persons life.
It is our goal to facillitate a love for living healthy that will carry through the teenage years and into adulthood.

Teen Athena is dedicated to shaping lifestyle attitudes toward health, nutrition and physical fitness by teaching young women the importance of healthy food choices and promoting balanced physical activities - all in a friendly, inspirational, non-judgmental environment.
